SURVIVOR 2006 - ON GOING

Survivor is over a decade-long photo project, which follows the story of Mohammed to show the long-term human impact of cluster bomb use.

Mohammed is a cluster bomb survivor of the summer 2006 Israel-Hizbollah war in Lebanon. He lost both legs, and I have, over the last ten years, documented his life.

In 2017, we started a crowdfunding campaign to help Mohammed get new prosthetic legs. Within three days the campaign reached its goal of $25,000. The funds covered his new prosthetics, treatment, specialist care and travel expenses to continue Mohammed’s journey to full recovery.
